Costa Rica Coffee | Single Origin Medium Roast | Sweet Apple, Raisin & Honey | Tonga Truck Coffee

Bright, sweet, and beautifully balanced — Costa Rica's micro farm tradition in every bag.

Grown by micro farm producers in the Alajuela region of Costa Rica at 1,300–1,445 meters above sea level, these Caturra and Catuai beans are cultivated in rich volcanic loam soil and processed using the eco-pulped method — a honey-adjacent technique that removes the coffee cherry skin but leaves a portion of the fruit's natural mucilage on the bean during sun drying. The result is a cup that sits in the best of both worlds: cleaner and brighter than a natural, with more sweetness and body than a fully washed.

In your cup: crisp sweet apple brightness, the deep dried-fruit warmth of raisin, and a smooth honey finish that lingers. Sophisticated enough for the pour-over crowd. Approachable enough for anyone.

Tasting Profile

  • Sweet apple — crisp, bright, and refreshing up front
  • Raisin — deep, dried-fruit warmth in the body
  • Honey — smooth, naturally sweet finish that rounds it all out

What is Eco-Pulped?

  • The cherry skin is removed, but natural fruit sugars remain on the bean during drying
  • Produces more complexity and sweetness than a fully washed coffee
  • A cleaner, brighter cup than a full natural process
  • Costa Rica’s signature processing method — also known as honey process
